    Our Mission

    Holding Your Hand Therapy, strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people. My mission is to empower them to express their feelings and work through challenges using creative arts therapies.

    The length of time it takes to see results from sessions with Holding your Hand Therapy varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Some clients may see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require longer-term therapy.

    I am a parent to three children, two of which have SEMH and SEN needs. I also have over 20 years experience working with children and young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and their families. I have worked in schools and residential provision, giving me a breadth of experience in this field. I am a PTUK registered play and Creative arts therapist, qualified to degree level, with additional training in DBT and CFT informed therapy. I am also qualified to deliver Therapeutic life story work and SSP.
